Are you an experienced accounting leader ready to step into a role where your voice matters and your expertise drives real impact? The Tribute Companies is hiring a full-time, onsite Accounting Manager to lead a capable team and bring financial insight to our growing, mission-driven organization.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity within an established accounting function—ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and day-to-day collaboration. You’ll step into a vital role where your contributions will influence company decisions, support compliance, and strengthen internal operations across departments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and mentor a team of three accounting staff, providing daily guidance and professional development.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general bookkeeping, tax filings, and month-end close processes.
  • Drive budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, including trust reporting and state requirements related to cemetery operations.
  • Develop and document internal accounting policies and procedures.
  • Act as a point of contact with our outsourced IT vendor to help bridge communication and resolve basic issues (an IT background is not required, but openness to collaboration is appreciated).
  • Partner with leadership, including the CEO, on special projects that intersect with accounting, operations, and organizational planning.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including reporting to or supporting executive leadership.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow, forecasting, and bottom-line strategy.
  • Experience with compliance, trusts, and/or regulated industries is a plus.
  • A collaborative, proactive leader who is comfortable navigating a dynamic business environment.
  • Familiarity with Acumatica ERP is a bonus.

  • Salary Range: $85,000 – $105,000/year, commensurate with experience and responsibilities
